CLOSURE: 12th FEB 2021
I’d like to announce that with the continued uncertainty around COVID-19, Luke and I have come to the decision to close The Travel Industry Hub in North Sydney. In the meantime, my focus will be continuing to grow the online community I'm building at The Travel Community Hub.
It’s evident from the reaction of visitors - and of many of you further afield that weren't yet able to visit TTIH - that a dedicated work, meeting and event space for the industry is a fantastically positive thing, and so closure of the physical space is a temporary setback for a project that has great opportunity when the time is right.
I'm exceptionally proud of the part that TTIH has played in supporting the industry as the pandemic has unfolded, bringing like-minded people together. We held more than 150 online and in-person events during 2020, and I’m committed to continuing to deliver many more this year and support the wonderful people that make up our industry via The Travel Community Hub. I really hope you'll consider joining in.
With many already having joined TCH to engage in the various forum groups, it's also where webinars and other sessions will continue along with discussion, support and connections with peers. And as for in-person events, ‘watch this space’ because these will continue at other locations!
For now we’d like to thank everyone who attended events or meetings at the space, those who simply dropped in for a hello, and the many unable to make it due to state border closures. Thanks to you all.
Below is one of my favourite snaps through the past year, as Lisa Pagotto helped David Reeves prepare nibbles for his and Walter Nand's Ride The World Motorcycle Tours launch, our very first event where we glued the last carpet tiles 20 minutes before it started. The picture sums up the community and togetherness that is everything we're about.
I look forward to continuing to connect with you all at The Travel Community Hub.
THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY HUB
The Travel Industry Hub is a hub of work, meeting, events, discussion and other travel and tourism industry activity, both online and at our first space that opened in Sydney, Australia, in 2020.
We have something for you regardless of your location, including a brand new online community for 2021 designed specifically for members to interact with likeminded others, access our popular webinar series and much more.
For those requiring work settings in Sydney we offer desks, meeting rooms, private offices, an event space, use of a professional 'virtual office' address and more.
Our offerings are broken into three categories, with plenty more behind the headings:
Whether you need an address, a casual workplace setting, a fully functional private office, a professional meeting place or somewhere to hold your next event, The Travel Industry Hub offers affordable solutions to professionals and organisations of any size.
